Save money and energy with income-qualified offers
With our income-qualified programs, thousands of British Columbians are making their homes more energy efficient and more comfortable year-round. Whether you want to make small changes for a real impact or invest in major upgrades, our suite of income-qualified programs has something to help you meet your goals.
Energy Saving Kit
Unbox free energy savings with the Energy Saving Kit (ESK). This kit is filled with easy-to-install products (instructions included) that could help you save on space heating, hot water, and lighting in your home. You don’t need to be a homeowner to request an Energy Saving Kit—just an income-qualified resident over 18 who wants to conserve more energy. And the Energy Saving Kit is a great way to start.
Energy Conservation Assistance Program
Reach out to the Energy Conservation Assistance Program (ECAP) today and request a free visit from one of our energy coaches. When they arrive, they’ll tour your home, review your energy use and show you some simple ways to improve energy efficiency and identify potential upgrades to be installed. Depending on the conditions of the home, they could determine whether you qualify for more upgrades to your home’s insulation, draftproofing, or maybe even an ENERGY STAR® refrigerator. It’s an easy and friendly way to enhance your home’s energy efficiency.

Income-qualified customers making energy-efficiency upgrades to their homes may qualify for additional support through our rebate programs. To ensure the upgrades you choose are eligible for the rebate, check the rebate eligible product lists, or ask your contractor.
Hire a registered contractor
Depending on the income-qualified rebate that you’re applying for, you’ll want to use either the Home Performance Contractor Network or the Trade Ally Network to find a suitable contractor trained in industry best practices, and subject to ongoing quality assurance evaluations.
