Empower Me

Empower Me is one-on-one energy conservation program that is specifically for South Asian, Chinese, Korean and Persian families who are interested in creating a safer and more comfortable home while reducing energy bills. The program is delivered in the participant’s native language and focuses on three key areas:

  • Energy-efficiency education 
  • How to understand and reduce utility bills
  • Installation of energy saving measures including:
    • faucet aerators
    • low-flow showerheads
    • draftproofing supplies

The program is free to all participants, on a first come, first served basis. Participants must be of South Asian, Chinese, Korean and Persian origin who own their own home in the Lower Mainland.

The program is currently being offered in Hindi, Punjabi, Mandarin, Farsi, English, Korean, Taiwanese, Urdu, Kannada, Marathi and Cantonese. For more information call 604-598-8428, or send an email to [email protected].
