Connect to natural gas: space and water heating rebates

"" (18-150.12)

When you connect to gas and replace your home’s oil or propane primary space heating system with an eligible ENERGY STAR® high-efficiency natural gas furnace, boiler or combination heating and hot water system, you could get a rebate of up to $3,800 ($2800 rebate + $1000 bonus). An additional rebate of $250 is available when you install an eligible natural gas fireplace at the same time.

You can further reduce your carbon footprint1 with the use of Renewable Natural Gas2 (RNG), available to customers connected to our gas system. RNG is easy to sign up for, and it works seamlessly with regular natural gas appliances.

2Renewable Natural Gas (also called RNG or biomethane) is produced in a different manner than conventional natural gas. It is derived from biogas, which is produced from decomposing organic waste from landfills, agricultural waste and wastewater from treatment facilities. The biogas is captured and cleaned to create Renewable Natural Gas.
