Printable application guides for commercial and residential rebates

Share these online rebate application how-to guides with your customers who require assistance with their rebate applications:

Dual fuel heating systems rebate requirements, mobile commissioning sheet app and heat load calculation requirements

Dual fuel rebate requirements

For customers to qualify for dual fuel heating systems rebates, HVAC contractors are required to complete a heat load calculation and a commissioning sheet for each installation service performed.

Mobile commissioning sheet app

The mobile commissioning sheet app will replace the PDF commissioning sheet, which provides customers with valuable information for when their system requires servicing in the future.

Note: the current version of the PDF commissioning sheet is still available. After December 31, 2024, it will no longer be accepted for rebate applications.

Heat load calculation requirements

A heat load calculation is required to ensure the space heating system is sized appropriately for the home’s heating load, which helps optimize energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emission reductions, and to encourage high-quality installations.

Changes to FortisBC gas rebates

In June 2023, the B.C. Government made a regulation change that ended our ability to offer rebates and incentives for some gas equipment.
