Aug 9, 2016
SURREY, BC – FortisBC has received the decision by Environment Minister Mary Polak and Natural Gas Development Minister Rich Coleman to issue an environmental assessment certificate for the Eagle Mountain-Woodfibre Gas Pipeline project.
FortisBC is reviewing the conditions and project design parameters outlined in the environmental assessment certificate. Our focus now will be to incorporate the conditions as we continue our detailed design of the project. We will continue to engage with Aboriginal groups, local stakeholders and the community as we move forward with the next phase of planning and permitting.
